Dress Attire:
(Girls) One Step Studios leotard, tights or black leggings.
(Boys) Black or white t-shirts and black dance pants or sweats.
Hair must be neatly secured in a bun or ponytail. Must have proper dance shoes for class, dance bag and dance card.
Please give dance card to teacher before each lesson. Dancers will not be allowed to participate in class if they are not
wearing appropriate dance wear and shoes. Please write your child’s name in all dance shoes.
Food and Drinks:
Food, drinks, candy or gum is not permitted in the studio. (Only bottled water)
Conduct: The dance teacher will not allow excessive talking or disrespectful behavior to fellow dancers. Any student demonstrating unacceptable behavior will be asked to leave the dance room. While class is in session, please do not call out to anyone while they’re dancing as it is very disruptive to the teacher and dancers, and please No taking pictures or video of class while in session (unless directed otherwise). One Step Studios reserves the right to suspend or dismiss any student whose attitude and/or behavior is unsatisfactory or disruptive.
Missing Lessons:
Students are expected to be in class every week. If a lesson is missed, dance card will be marked absent, and there will be a two week period to make up lessons. There are no credits or refunds for missed lessons. If a student will be missing a lesson or running late for class please call and leave a voice message or email the studio.
Student Drop Off and Pickup:
Students must arrive 10 minutes early to class and be picked up no later then 15 minutes after class. Parents please make every effort to have your child on time for their lesson.
Observation: All parents and visitors must remain in the office area during classes. During certain times we will invite parents and visitors in to watch their child’s progress.
Lost and Found: Our lost and found box is located in the dressing room. One Step Studios, is not responsible for lost or damaged belongings.
Adding or Dropping a Class: Students who wish to add or drop a class from which they are registered, must sign and turn in the Add/Drop form to the office two weeks before the new tuition due date.
Bulletin Board: Students and parents should check the bulletin board in the office often to verify holidays, rehearsals, and performance information.

Withdrawing Policy: If a student needs to withdraw temporarily or permanently from the studio, or to stop your automatic debit payment plan you must complete a withdraw form two weeks prior to your upcoming tuition payment. Parents will be responsible for the next tuition payment if you do not turn in a withdraw form. Withdrawal must be done in person and will not be accepted over the phone or email.
Refer a Friend:
It’s simple, refer a friend have them sign up for dance lessons and get a $20.00 credit on your One Step Studios account.
Best of all there is no limit to how many friends, neighbors, and family members you refer.
