Diana Ross & the Supremes give their final concert
A dozen #1 hits behind them, the mega-selling ’60s pop group performs together for the last time at Las Vegas’ Frontier Hotel. Ross will go on to launch a solo career and also earn a Best Actress Oscar nod, while the rest of the band will go through several lineup changes before disbanding in 1977.
